Position Description:

As a Sales Executive and Solutions Consultant at 1406 Consulting, you will play a pivotal role in supporting sales and business growth of our company by designing solutions and services proposals to help new clients achieve their business objectives. You’ll need strong persuasion skills to turn leads into qualified sales opportunities and close new sales contracts. Our ideal candidate is an excellent relationship builder who loves connecting with people to help solve their business needs. 

You will be the primary point of contact for HubSpot Sales team collaboration on shared opportunities, responsible for nurturing strong partner relationships and identifying opportunities for upselling our services.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:
  • Collaborate with the 1406 leadership and creative teams to design and implement marketing campaigns, maintain website content, and lead a strong company social media presence.
  • Research market trends and identify potential opportunities for the company
  • Develop and write detailed business proposals for new initiatives
  • Develop customer segmentation strategies to improve target marketing and prospecting efforts
  • Act as the primary point of contact and develop relationships with the HubSpot Sales team and other technology and solution partners for  collaboration on shared opportunities
  • Generate qualified leads for 1406 services and HubSpot shared opportunities, providing timely engagement to ensure progression of sales opportunities 
  • Prospect potential customers via social media, cold calling, email, or other forms of communication to ensure they are added to the sales pipeline and produce more qualified leads
  • Maintain leads and prospects in our HubSpot CRM to ensure current status information on all leads
  • Outbound prospecting and inbound lead engagement to find new business opportunities within target industries and ideal client profiles 
  • Tracking and management of monthly and quarterly sales and performance goals to ensure they are being met
HubSpot Expertise:
  • Leverage your in-depth knowledge of HubSpot to assist prospects with solution proposals to their business needs
  • Conduct demos and proof of concept examples with prospects to demonstrate effective use of HubSpot tools, automation, and features in solution design.
  • Maintain HubSpot Academy certifications as identified by the management team

Upselling and Expansion:

  • Actively work with internal team members to identify opportunities for upselling additional services or HubSpot features to existing clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales and leadership teams to develop tailored upsell strategies.
  • Present opportunities to leadership for review and execution.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Successful track record of at least 2 years of experience in an equivalent sales position  
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (Business, Marketing, etc.).
  • Demonstrable experience with a strong background in HubSpot.
  • HubSpot certifications (e.g., HubSpot Certified, Inbound Certified) are preferred.
  • Excellent social media engagement, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work remotely with a professional work space during standard business hours
