Then we want to hire you to help crush our client's goals with data-backed marketing campaign strategies. We are looking for an ambitious marketing analyst passionate about making data more palatable to non-data geeks that helps facilitate decision-making and optimization. You are excited to create strategies that drive traffic, increase ROI, and identify lead-generating opportunities for our client's businesses while being part of a growing team.
In this role, you’ll be be asked to:
- Work on a cross-functional team to launch and optimize digital campaigns across channels, including but not limited to: website, blog, email, social media, paid social, search and display
- Report, track and assist with creating and maintaining a marketing campaign calendar to drive conversion
- Perform competitive analysis, research new opportunities, and use data to provide strategic recommendations that support our clients growth
- Understand how client data is structured in HubSpot, and segment based on criteria
- Promote data integrity best practices for maintaining a healthy contact database, and shares these across the team for client success
- Know how to ask the right questions, creating queries that cull the right data into reporting structures that guide our strategies for clients
- Research for SEO, SEM and website content topics and collaborate with our team and leadership

You will succeed in this role if you're:
- Able to be a critical thinker, ambitious, data-driven, hard working and have a willingness to take risks for us and our clients
- Proficient in data analysis with a working knowledge of website and social analytics
- Skilled at creating presentations to explain data trends and observations to both internal and external audiences
- Capable of performing research on clients, their competitors, market trends, and keywords with SEMrush or similar tools
- Experienced with data visualization tools, Excel, Google Analytics or SEMrush
- Energized by being part of a team that is always looking for new ways to grow, evolve, and increase their impact with our clients
- Self-motivated and ready to work with a highly collaborative, integrated team at a small marketing agency
- Comfortable geeking out over data, new technology and computers during the workday
- Ready to reply on internal Slack conversations with gifs or emojis on a regular basis
- Ok with lively slack discussions about poptarts, running vs. eating donuts, puppy photos, and lightsabers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with paid search, paid social, SEO, SEM and general digital marketing strategies
- Experience with Google Analytics and SEMrush (Google/Facebook certification a plus)
- Able to visualize data to communicate with stakeholders in SEMRush or Google Data Studio
- Ability to meet and often beat deadlines
- Open mind, eager to learn and solve problems with a team
- Know your way around a spreadsheet - beyond simple data input, you’re well versed in basic data analysis
- Experienced with a CRM or marketing automation, preferably HubSpot
- Home office computer setup, high speed internet, and ability to do video meetings on a regular basis
- Willingness to learn, sense of humor, and excitement at the chance of working at a growing agency
